WP10 Data quality control

Description

As part of the diXa FP7 project, guidelines summarizing such best practices for ‘omics platforms relevant in toxicogenomics applications have been established by partner Genedata. These guidelines describe procedures and algorithms for processing raw data generated on diverse ‘omics platforms, for example DNA arrays, LC- or GC-MS, and next generation sequencing, including quality controlassessment and condensing. The guidelines have been implemented as Expressionist® workflows.

For the purpose of quality control, management, integration, and analysis oftoxicogenomics data, partner Genedata has already developed a range of relevantsoftware tools:

Genedata Expressionist® for Genomic Profiling is a comprehensive, enterprise software solution that manages, analyzes, and visualizes massive amounts of raw data from next generation sequencing, microarray, real time-PCR, and other genomic technologies.

Genedata Expressionist® for Mass Spectrometry manages, analyzes, and vizualizes massive amounts of proteomic, metabolomic, and lipidomic data from all major technologies, such as label-free LC-MS/GC-MS, labeled experiments (SILAC, iTRAQ,and TMT), MRM, ESI and Infusion MS)
