On Sept. 27 and 28 the final meeting of the HeCaToS project was held at the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel and Conference Centre.
During this 2 day-meeting two use cases were presented, besides project progress and final results. The first use case related to cross-omics and analysis of cardiotoxicity and modelling cardiac physiology. The second use case covered the topics of cellular and cholestatic hepatoxicity en its clinical implications.
The HeCaToS Project Board invited several representatives from regulatory bodies to attend the meeting and to interact and discuss about the projected outcomes of HeCaToS and their possible effect for the community. The regulatory bodies which were represented were the OECD (Organisation for Economic collaboration and Development), the EMA (European Medicine Agency) and EFSA (European Food Safety Authority).
